Somehow that seems a lot more appropriate and logical to the MSG crowd than the delusional rap clown Kanye West, who came out earlier to "perform" 20 minutes of rap babble, which included a few choice n-words that the censors failed to bleep in time.

The only reason I know who this idiot Kanye West is of course, is because of his famous 2005 stunt on live Katrina-relief tv. Of course, the South Park episode "Gay Fish" enlightened us all further to the toxic levels of self esteem combined with pure-bred stupidity that animates the dubious talent of this angry, ethno-centric "performer."

Anyway, the Times' own Jon Pareles is always writing about how cool and "edgy" and cerebral the rap music that he loves is.
