If the Times journo who wrote this got thrown into prison after getting his wish (after "Pistol Pete" was released from his cage and allowed to mingle with the General Population), then cot cornered, beat to a pulp then fucked up the ass by this savage murdering rape-ape, I can guarantee you that the Times reporter would find a reason to excuse his attacker:
