Putting Haitian Voodoo on a Pedestal Equal to - If Not Better Than - Christianity

In one of the more embarrassingly snivelling articles to be published by the New York Times recently, an unbelievably hypocritical and pandering bit of black uplift entitled "Voodoo, Spiritual Anchor, Rises Again in New York," Times communist Dan Bilefsky (note the first four letters of that surname) takes sucking up to black Haitians to new levels.

That a NYT reporter could even claim that Haitian voodoo is a religion at all is bad enough; that said reporter would imply that the mind jarring stupidity that makes widespread practice of this barbarity possible is something to be admired makes us suspect that a mental disorder is involved; but for the nation's newspaper of record to dare imply that voodoo is a religion to be put on a pedestal equal to - and possibly even superior to - Western Christianity is an act of criminal journalistic disingenuousness that should be tried by the International Criminal Court in the Hague, and result in a sentence of Death By Voodoo Ceremony.

As further evidence of the New York Times' boundless perfidy and doublespeak, the last story posted here - "Fighting Teenage Pregnancy" - is noteworthy as much because it was published alongside the two heavily biased articles featured above it, as by the photos that accompany the article.

In other words, the New York Times wants you to believe that teenage pregnancy is a predominantly white trash affair. The photographs accompanying this article do not depict one single non-white among the young unwed mothers the article seeks not so much to condemn, as to put on parade.

The problem we at COTT have with this kind of selective reporting of unfortunate displays of social dysfunction, where poor white women from rural Maine shamefully give birth to infants addicted to Oxycontin, is that the NYT devoted this Sunday an entire front-page Magazine feature story on the Department of Education's desperate attempt to enforce the certifiably insane "No Child Left Behind" Act, whereby hundreds of billions of dollars are poured into minority public schools so that Blacks and Hispanics will miraculously become just as smart as Asians and Whites.

So to summarize, the NYT publishes this article, which makes it look like the only people having children out of two-parent households are poor whites; while at the same time, they publish this gushing, fawning, ass-kissing monster article that attempts to explain away black and Hispanic failure, and make it seem like there is nothing more heroic - more Civil-Rights Era-style morally untouchable - than attempting to bridge the achievement gap.

It's amazing to us that even the self-loathing white male journos at America's newspaper of record would admit to being Oprah fans, but I guess for them such an affiliation is like a badge of honor that they wear with pride.

Celebrating Post-Westernism: The Reverse Trojan Horse Syndrome

The New York Times published two obituaries today that are noteworthy in the way they betray the Times' central post-Western worldview: that of W.H. Prusoff and Baruch S. Blumberg. Both of these men were incredibly intelligent medical researchers;  Blumberg won a Nobel Prize for his work. Their  contribution to the development of lifesaving drugs was on a scale similar to that of the great Jonas Salk, discoverer of the polio vaccine.

Prusoff and Blumberg are the kinds of doctors the post-Western one-worlders at the New York Times love to bits: these doctors created revolutionary vaccines whose main benefactors were AIDS patients in Africa and other assorted non-Westerners. 

It's what I call the "Reverse Trojan Horse Syndrome": do-gooder Westerners like Prusoff and Blumberg, as morality athletes in the competitive altruism grand slam, use their innate genius to improve the lives of the "less fortunate." This results in the less fortunate - i.e. non-Westerners - being given access to technology they use to increase their numbers to mind-boggling levels of over-population. 

China had half a billion people in 1975; they doubled that population in just 25 years! Similarly, Africa went from 500 million in 1980 to over one billion last year. Do-gooder Western assistance had a lot to do with these runaway numbers.

In a sane society crap like "Health Issues Facing Gays Need More Research, Panel Says" - written by Times communist Robert Pear and published on page A21 of today's national edition - would simply not be published, at least not in what is supposed to be that society's newspaper of record. In a sane society, maybe - maybe -  such nonsense would have its place in the back pages of some specialty publication.

The New York Times however does not represent a sane society. The Times has become the spokesmouth for the type of not-sane society that ours has become, a society devolved into sickly illusionism precisely as a result of the insidious and relentless propaganda campaign that the Times has been waging for many years now.

There is nothing sadder, nothing more disheartening, than to see with one own's eyes the tragic byproducts of a social engineering experiment gone hideously awry: all around us, clueless tatted-up young people, with absolutely not a sliver of civilizational pride, without the tiniest clue of why Rome fell, why the West is the best, or why electricity came to Egypt only 50 years ago.

The saddest part about these idiots is that the way they think, the way they dress, the way they decide to have Chinese characters tattooed on the backs of their necks - all of this behaviour is not of their own free will, but rather the result of influences deviously foisted upon them by the very elites behind the larger tragedy of Western decline.

Translation: a lot of these lesbians are no more carpet munchers than Cleopatra ever was; this lifestyle they were talked into - influenced into  - by the self-destruction elites at places like the New York Times.

So the next time you see a stupid white child with a portrait of Che tatooed onto his neck, don't even bother to tell him that he thinks he's a social justice warrior only because the New York Times wants him to. It's too late for that kid.

It is interesting that the New York Times even published what some might see as a slightly anti-birthright citizenship article on its front page today. Notice however the way that the NYT DOES seem to condemn the anti-birthright citizenship movement (God, what ô WHAT could be a more legitimate struggle, than seeking to repeal the law that makes it possible for these nasty foreigners to fly over, and while sneering at our stupidity and naievete the whole time, fart out a dark little slanty-eyed invader, who with US passport in hand, will in 21 years be eligible to petition for the parents and grandparents to come to the US to suck on the public tit): on page TWO of today's national edition, in their "Quotation of the Day", the reality magicians at Amerika's newspaper of record publish a quote from a person featured in today's front page article. It goes like this:

"I think it deserves a lot more study and a lot more attention. But to say that you want to change the Constitution because of this feels like killing a fly with an Uzi." - ANGELA MARIA KELLY, an immigration expert for a liberal-leaning research group, on foreign women giving burf in the United States so that their babies will be American citizens.

And it would appear pretty obvious to the casual observer that more than being eccentric, Qaddafi is just plain dumb. But for the NYT to question a fellow earthling's innate ability would be to raise questions that the reality police do not tolerate. Therefore, rather than offend, the Times misinforms. Translation: the Times' relentless campaign to foist diversity upon the nation and undo the traditional bedrock of Western Civilization is succeeding. Yee-hah !

We will surely see a lot more of this in the coming days. Here at COTT, nothing coming out of the pages of Amerika's newspaper of record shocks us any more.

Nevertheless, we felt it our duty to speak out on the incredibly dubious photo proudly reprinted on this blog without permission above. Please take a closer look at this photo that the Times in their infinite sneakiness tried to slip past us: it shows two black males people, who for the purposes of the article "U.S. Blacks Moving to South, Reversing Trend" are meant to symbolize the changing dynamic of the African American population in the United States. Upon closer inspection, one is forced to wonder whether the large, bespectacled, balding negro in the foreground is a male or a female of the species, given the very obvious cleavage and the nature of the article. And then, when one reads the caption: "Tuan N'Gai and his Partner Erin...," one is left even more confused: which one is the female in this apparent couple? Which one is Erin? Isn't "Erin" a female name?

The ambiguity is intentional, obviously. And the New York Times is a sick, sick, sick institution for trying to pull crap like this.

And the subtitle of the article is: "There is a way to stop extremism, but it's not palatable for americans."
