One reason - a rather substantial reason - for so much black dysfunction is the Communist party in the US.
Read Manning Johnson. Johnson was a black Communist who saw clearly how he was being used, and renounced Communism.

The black panthers -- also a communist funded and controlled group - in the 1960's made a big stink how much they loved their fellow blacks, yet they killed many blacks, along with many whites ; The black panthers destroyed many middle-class blacks -- especially blacks who owned their own businesses, Mom-and-Pop stores. Many black owned businesses -- and black-owned homes -- in the 1960's were burned down to the ground by the Communist owned black panthers.
I don't think the NYT will ever get around to telling the true story of how the Communists use the blacks as pawns, and the true story of the black panthers.
For all the noise they make about how much they love their fellow blacks, the black panthers are the biggest sell-outs to the Communists, of all the black sell-outs.
